Patricia Naomi Hartzell
Patricia Naomi Hartzell, 81, of Washington, died Saturday, December 4, 2021, in her home.
She was born September 29, 1940, in Claysville, a daughter of the late Thomas Gray and Sara Naomi Woods Gray, and raised by the late Willard and Eleanor Gray.
Mrs. Hartzell graduated from Claysville High School, worked at Imperial Cleaners, and was a member of East Buffalo Presbyterian Church.
Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her life.
On June 12, 1959, she married Earl “Dude” Hartzell, who died July 26, 2006.
Surviving are a son, Brian (Angela) Hartzell of Carolina Beach, N.C.; a daughter, Lorraine (Paul) Warnick of Claysville; nine grandchildren, Amber Cox, Nikkole Brookens, Ashley Murray, Stephanie Hartzell, Benrenna Lincoln, Kristen Cox, AJ Cox, Sarah Hartzell and Matthew Hartzell; along with many great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Jeffrey Mark Hartzell, who also died December 4, 2021; a brother, Robert Gray; and a sister, Peggy Riggs.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 9, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 10. Burial will follow in West Finley Cemetery.
