Louis P. Armenini
Louis P. “Pro” Armenini, 83, of Washington, died Tuesday, December 7, 2021, in The Washington Hospital, due to complications from Covid.
He was born July 15, 1938, in Monongahela, a son of the late Andrew and Ann Christina Armenini.
Mr. Armenini graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1959, and was a veteran of the Army, serving from 1960 to 1963.
He worked at Federal Paper and retired from Superior Valve, where he served for many years as the union president.
During his retirement, he worked part-time at The Shoe Department in the Washington Crown Center.
Mr. Armenini coached youth football and other youth sports for over 40 years, first for Patten and later for Trinity North at the Brownson House and Trinity fields.
He loved golfing, watching football and the Pittsburgh Penguins, and most of all, spending time with his family.
On April 16, 1996, he married Brenda Swink, who survives.
Also surviving are his only daughter, Andrea Armenini Ausher and her husband, James Ausher; three grandchildren, Andrew “AJ” Pattison, Avery Ausher, and Alex Ausher; a sister, Marie Tokar; a brother, Lawrence (Kathy) Armenini; four stepchildren, Randy Swink, Sandra Swink (Michael) Morgan, Traci Swink Roux, and Ty (Lindsay) Swink; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are private at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
