William Shuba

William Shuba, 80, of Houston, formally of East End Canonsburg died in his sleep at home Sunday, after a battle with MDS.

He was born March 18, 1941, son of the late Michael and Mary Shuba. He had three brothers, John, Mickey and Richard and one sister Ruth.

Following his graduation from Canon McMillan School, he proudly served in the USAF where he was an aircraft mechanic. He worked most of his life at McGraw Edison “The Transformer” in Canonsburg until they closed.

He was married to Vera Ann and had three children before their divorce who survive him. William Jr, Todd and Amy; and two grandchildren; Haley and Zoey.

He cleared his property and built most of his home by hand which he was proud of. He enjoyed working on his home, boats and small engines. He loved to hunt and fisheven spending months every year fishing the bridges in the Florida Keys.

He was a wonderful father and friend to everyone, enjoying visits with family and friends. He was always willing to lend a hand. He will be deeply missed.

There will be no viewing or services at his request.

His remains will be interred at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Cecil Twp.
