William Hampson
William “Bone” Hampson, 74, of Houston, died Sunday, December 12, 2021, in the Canonsburg Hospital.
He was born November 22, 1947, in Canton, Ohio, a son of William and Nadine Hampson.
Bill worked for over 30 years as a psychiatric aide at Mayview State Hospital.
Mr. Hampson was a member of the Christian Church of North America, and the Washington Chapter HOG.
Bone loved motorcycles and enjoyed throwing darts, shooting pool and carp fishing.
On April 7, 1970, he married Marsha “Spider” Crowe who died December 4, 2020.
Surviving are a son William H. Hampson (Nikki), of Claysville; a daughter, Marcy L. Hampson, of Washington; two grandsons, William and Dwayne Hampson Jr.; two great-granddaughters, Arabella and Elianna Hampson; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a son Dwayne Hampson; and a sister, Diane Davis.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, Owner/Supervisor, 27 Cherry Avenue, Houston, where services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 18, 2021. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Gardens.
The family would love to have anyone willing to ride their motorcycle in the procession on Saturday, to please join them.
