David Louis Loughman
David Louis Loughman, 82, of Sycamore, died at 11:55 p.m. Sunday, December 19, 2021, at home.
He was born Sunday, January 15, 1939, in Waynesburg. A son of the late Carl G. “Jack” Loughman and Elizabeth Grim Loughman Ferrari.
Mr. Loughman was a member of the Greene County Historical Society and the Grumpy Old Men’s Club in Waynesburg. David was also a member of the Sheet Metal Union Local #12.
He had worked at the Berryhill’s Service Station and was a sheet metal worker. He also was the courier for BB Courier Services.
He was a veteran having served with the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Lahew Loughman, whom he married on Tuesday, September 22, 1959.
Also surviving are two daughters, Belynda (Charles) Beatty, of Claysville, Marci (Emerson) Snee, of Waynesburg; one son, Samuel David Loughman, of Waynesburg, six grandchildren; three Sisters, Dora Belle Barclay, of Waynesburg, Ruth Ellen Fox, of Mather, and Deborah Loughman, of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are one grandson, Charles Beatty; and one brother, Carl Loughman
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, in the Milliken and Throckmorton FH, Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, Owner / Director, 197 N. Maiden Street, Waynesburg.
There will be no services, and burial will be private at the West Union Cemetery, West Union.
