Phillip M. Lee
Phillip M. Lee, 68, of Avella, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, January 30, 2021, after a brief battle with cancer.
He was born on November 11, 1952 in Denver, Colo., a son of the late James Clifford Lee and Elizabeth Irene Lemport Lee.
Phillip was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving as a Private during Vietnam and was honorably discharged in 1970.
He had lived in Florida for the past 35 years and was a carpenter by trade. He worked as a maintenance manager and handyman until he retired in 2017 and moved to Avella to be close to family.
Phillip loved any projects where he got to build things, he was a handyman for anyone that needed help. He enjoyed relaxing and spending time with his dog, Rocky.
Surviving are his daughter, Jennie Lee (Mark Verelst) of Avella; son, James Lee; five grandchildren, Rianna, Kris, Riley, Tessa and Nathan; two brothers, Richard Sullivan Lee of Indiana and Robert (Sherry) Lee of South Dakota; his niece Jessica Lee Malles (Robert); and several other nieces and nephews.
Deceased in addition to his parents is a brother, James Clifford Lee Jr.
