Rosella J. Brown
Rosella J. Brown, 94, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully, at home, Friday, January 29, 2021. She was born July 14, 1926, in Canonsburg, a daughter of the late Matthew and Margaret Jackovic Ladich.
Rosella was a lifelong resident of Canonsburg. She was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, playing cards, doing word puzzels and bingo.
She was a member of the St. Patrick worship site of St. Oscar Romera Parish.
Left behind to cherish her memory are daughters, Maureen (Frank) Andronas of Canonsburg, Rosella Marie (William) Wentz of Canonsburg; sons, James (Lisa) Brown of Marietta, Ohio, William (Keri) Brown of Sutherin, Ore. and Kenneth Brown of Canonsburg; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren. Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Eugene H. Brown, who passed away July 18, 2015; infant brother, Matthew Ladich; and sisters, Elizabeth Malecki and Margaret Capitani
Friends and family are welcome from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 2, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, LFD owner/supervisor, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, 724-745-8120, where departing prayers will be recited at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, February 3. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, in the St. Patrick worship site of St. Oscar Romera Parish.
Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, at 2:30 p.m.
