Bonnie Gregg, 83, of Washington, passed peacefully from this world, with her three daughters by her side, into the arms of God and her loving husband Buzz Gregg, at Presbyterian Senior Care Friday, January 29, 2021.

She was born April 19, 1937, in Washington, a daughter of the late Beulah Stuck and the late Edward Greer.

Bonnie attended Washington High School and then worked for the Bell Telephone Company with her sister Catherine, where she made many lifelong friends. She and her sister enjoyed attending the Bell Telephone reunions.

On January 9, 1960, she married the love of her life, David “Buzzy” Gregg. They enjoyed 53 beautiful years of marriage, until his death in 2013. The marriage produced three daughters, Dawn (Donald) Litman, Luann Gregg (Tom Ingram) and Paula (William) Randour .

Due to declining health, Bonnie resided at Presbyterian Senior Care for the last four years. She was lovingly referred to as the “sun goddess,” because anytime the sun was shining you would find her outside soaking up the rays.

Bonnie loved spending time with her family anytime they would visit, especially her great-grandchildren. But her broken heart never recovered from losing her husband. Her family is at peace knowing they are together again.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her sisters, Catherine Hopkins and Patty Fosnight. She is survived by sisters, Caroline Miller, Sue Thompson, Marlene Sargent, Charlene Reisch, Denise Spurell; and brother, Donnie Greer.

Surviving, in addition, are her beloved grandchildren, Brooke (Robin) Layhue, Logan (D.J.) Kearns, Kassie Gordon, Tim (Chelsea) Gordon, Corey (Lindsey) Randour and Jeremy (Kayla) Randou; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Morgan, Bently and Brady Layhue, Bryce Kearns, Xander Holden, Aubrey, Leon and Jade Randour and June Randour; as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the many caregivers at Presbyterian Senior Care who cared for Bonnie during her time there, with a special thanks to Stephanie.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, services will be private and for the immediate family only.

Arrangements are entrusted to the William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington.
