Henry Jeanette
Henry “Bud” Jeanette, 77, of McDonald, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021, in Canonsburg Hospital.
Bud was born February 17, 1943, in McDonald, a son of the late Henry S. and Goldie Hooker Jeannette.
Bud was a proud U.S. Army veteran, serving and working for the Army in his lifetime. He also retired from West Allegheny School District after working in their HVAC department for over 20 years.
Bud loved his community and the people in it and would do anything for a friend. He often could be found in his garage, washing his truck or tinkering with anything dealing with heating and air conditioning. There was not one thing Bud couldn’t fix. He valued hard work and had a very unique work ethic. Bud provided his family with the perfect example of how to be a great spouse, father and grandfather. As a father of seven and a grandfather of 11, life was always crazy, but that was what Bud loved most about his family. The loudness that came with the laughter and the time spent together that created the memories that will last a lifetime.
Surviving is his loving wife of 22 years, Kathy Deleuze Jeanette of McDonald; children, Heather (Brian Zickefoose) Babirad, Laura (Tony) Sinatra, Jessica (Kelly Trapuzzano) Jeanette, Melinda (Justin) Perez, Maura (Philip) Boggs, Rick Chaussard and Justin (Kayla) Chaussard; grandchildren, Ryan, Alex and Noah Babirad, Dana and Seth Sinatra, Raylee and Amelia Boggs, Sutton Perez and Deakin, Brayden and Harper Chaussard; siblings, Jerry Jeannette, Rodney (Dee) Jeannette, Nancy Cousins; numerous nieces and nephews; and mother-in-law, Isabelle Wilson.
Bud was preceded in death by his daughter, Dana Lynn Jeanette; sister, Joy Descutner; and former wife, Linda Jeanette.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, February 7, in Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 314 W. Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, 724-926-2800. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the McDonald Volunteer Fire Department.
