Grayson G. Briggs, 78, of Marianna, died Wednesday, February 03, 2021, in South Hills Rehab and Wellness. He was born February 28, 1942, in Amwell Township, a son of the late Garland F. and Idell K. Rasel Briggs.

He attended Bethlehem Center High School. Mr. Briggs worked for Teal Construction in Dover, Del., for many years. He was a member of North Ten Mile Baptist Church for more than 50 years. He was also a member of American Legion Post 744 of Marianna.

He enjoyed yard work, playing pool, and most of all cleaning and keeping his truck sparkling clean.

He is survived by an ex-wife, Bonnie Voshell; two sons, Brian Briggs and wife of Trinity of Texas, Ryan Briggs of Dover; four sisters, Ada Hines of Amity, Shirley Higgs of Ravena, Ohio, Ruby Conrad of Buffalo, Ohio, Arlene Edgar of Marianna, with whom he resided, and Cora Palmieri (Mike) of Baltimore, Md.; as well as two grandsons, Carter and Conner.

Deceased, in addition to his parents, is a sister, Blanche Crile.

Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of funeral services, with Pastor Linda Mankey officiating, Saturday, February 6, in the Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington.
