Luella M. Wier
Luella M. Wier, 73, of Avella, died February 3, 2021, in Transitions Health Care, Washington.
She was born April 6, 1947, in Claysville, a daughter of the late Wiley and Edwina Ritchie Plants.
Mrs. Wier was a homemaker who enjoyed hunting when younger, crocheting, knitting and quilting. In addition, she was an avid reader who loved her family, watching the birds outside her windows and traveling.
On September 5, 1966, she married Clifford L. Wier, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Kenneth M. Wier (Christina Casto) of Avella; three grandchildren, Brandon C. Wier (Shelby Brown) of Cross Creek, David J. Powers of Avella and Amber Scott (Cody Hukill) of Avella; a great-grandson, Carter Thomas Wier; a great-granddaughter, Charlee Hukill; and a close friend, Paula Rosa.
Deceased is a daughter, Wendy L. Wier, who died in 1997.
There will be no public visitation or service.
