Dolores Marie Preaux

Dolores Marie Preaux, 89, of Cecil, died Saturday, February 13, 2021, in Manor Care, McMurray.

She was born June 7, 1931, in Cecil, a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth B. Storm Scanny.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, South Fayette, and a former member of Cecil #3 Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and Cecil American Legion Auxiliary. She volunteered with the Cecil Township parks and recreation.

She was a homemaker, and at one time, she and her former husband owned the Alibi Cafe in Morgan.

Surviving are a son, Robert Preaux of Canonsburg; daughter, Cheryl (Ed) Suchacek of Pittsburgh; daughter-in-law, Fran Preaux of North Hills; grandchildren, Annie Preaux (fiance Travis Fink) of New Orleans, La., Cheyene (Sam) Wilcox of Carnegie and Connor Suchacek of Pittsburgh; a great-grandchild, Felix Wilcox; and two sisters, Gladys Kolljeski of Bridgeville and Gloria Godfrey of Cecil; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by sister, Joan Kovach.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, in the Coleman-Taylor Funeral Services, 3378 Millers Run Road, Cecil, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 18, with Pastor Dr. Edward O. Grimenstein officiating.

Interment will follow in the Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald.
