Karen Elizabeth Taylor Campbell
Karen Elizabeth Taylor Campbell, 75, of Washington, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021.
She was born January 5, 1946, in Washington, a daughter of the late Anthony Taylor and Edith Taylor Pollard.
A 1963 graduate of Washington High School, Karen attended the Connelley Technical Institute and the Community College of Allegheny County completing her LPN and RN coursework respectively.
Ms. Campbell was employed as a pediatric nurse for nearly 50 years, where she specialized in home health care.
Karen is survived by children Kelley Campbell and John “Curtie” (Amanda) Campbell Jr., both of Washington; grandchildren Sirhonda (Brandon) Phillips, John Campbell III, Tiarra Campbell, Hayden Bennett, Taylor Turner, Tiffany Turner and Hope Campbell; and great-grandchildren Brooke Phillips, Breanna Phillips, Kadan Hankins and Brandon Phillips Jr.; brother Mark Taylor; former spouse John Campbell Sr.; and an array of extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings Carol Gibbs, Kent Taylor and Scott Taylor.
A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
