Marion Louise Samuels
Marion Louise Samuels, 90, of Washington, went to be with her Lord February 6, 2021, while in the Donnell House.
She was born December 8, 1930, in Washington, a daughter of Paul Dolan and Mildred Louise Dolan Heist.
Mrs. Samuels was a life member of the Disciples of Christ, First Christian Church of Washington, where she was in charge of the crib and cradle room for many years and served as secretary of Christian Education. She also was a member of the church’s Christian Women’s Fellowship, helped serve many church dinners over the years and made crafts for the annual bazaar.
Marion worked in the laundry at The Washington Hospital until her retirement.
On June 9, 1949, she married Morris Samuels, who died March 14, 2009.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Pauline “Snooks” Dolan Blackhurst Trasoline; and a brother, Frederick R. Dolan.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
There will be no public services. Arrangements have been entrusted to William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., Washington.
