Anne R. Sekora
Anne R. Sekora, 96, of Denbo (Centerville Borough), passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021, in Hillside Manor Personal Care.
She was born June 2, 1924, in Centerville Borough, a daughter of the late Steve and Barbara Carr Belovich Sr.
Mrs. Sekora was a 1942 graduate of Centerville High School.
She was employed on the riverboats of Guttman / Mon-River Towing for many years.
Surviving are three sons, Dennis G. Ilko (Antoinette) of Fairfield, and Gary S. Ilko and Frank R. Ilko (Kimberly), both of Low Hill; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Madeline Fleegle of McKeesport and Virginia Kuchta of Pittsburgh; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, William J. Sekora, who died in 1994; four sisters, Mary Henck, Barbara Belovich, Kathryn Belovich and Josephine Lesnick; four brothers, Frank, Steve, John and Joseph Belovich.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of services, Tuesday, February 23, in Greenlee’s Fredericktown Funeral Home, Ltd., 42 Bank Street at Crawford Road, Fredericktown, with Pastor Sheldon Barnett officiating. COVID-19 protocol will be observed including face coverings and social distancing.
