David Alexander Markish
David Alexander Markish, 28, of Atlasburg, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 21, 2021.
He was born March 15, 1992, in the Washington Hospital, a son of Steven John and Connie Lee Rupani Markish.
A 2010 graduate of the Burgettstown High School, he was a proud member of the Carpenters Union Local 142 and was currently working with his brother at H&M Automotive and Diesel in Atlasburg.
Davie was dedicated in the Atlasburg Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed riding his dirt bike, doing detailed drawings, going to the shooting range and was always willing to help anyone when they needed it.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his brother, Steven M. Markish and fiance Hope Bowersock; sisters, Melissa and Jennifer Markish; his maternal grandparents, Carl Rupani and wife Patricia of Maryland and Sandra Borsos of Atlasburg; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Samuel E. Markish, Sr. and Justine Ruskowski Markish.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, in the Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 28, with the Rev. Bill Hardy and Matt Kyzer officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Hickory.
