Clara M. Klages Limes
Clara M. Klages Limes, 74, of Dandridge, Tenn., died at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Jefferson City, Tenn., January 21, 2021.
She was born April 26, 1946, near West Alexander, a daughter of Clarence E. and Alta M. Klages. She lived in the West Alexander area until the age of 37.
She attended the West Alexander Elementary School and graduated from McGuffey High School in 1964. Mrs. Limes also earned an associate’s degree from Robert Morris College and received a bachelor of science degree from West Liberty University.
She married David L. Limes April 8, 1983, in Denver, Colorado. They also lived in California, Japan, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. She enjoyed traveling to Europe and Asia and other countries.
She worked for several companies including the Renewable Energy Laboratory, Electric Power Research Institute and The American Red Cross. She enjoyed painting, gardening, reading, golfing, and biking.
Surviving are her husband, David; one sister, Nancy D. Wilhelm of West Alexander; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Deceased are one daughter, Tammy Jo; five brothers, Earl L. Klages, Wayne C. Klages, Lloyd A. Klages, Jack M. Klages, Kenneth E. Klages; and one sister, Emma Jean.
