Donna D. Henze
Donna D. Henze, 81, of Finleyville, died Monday, January 18, 2021, at St. Clair Hospital in Mt. Lebanon.
She was born April 12, 1939, in Elizabeth, a daughter of Homer and Alice Lundeen Casperson.
Mrs. Henze was retired as a cashier at the former Sears Department Store in West Mifflin.
She was a life member and former treasurer of Mountain Valley Trail Riders Club, was active in Clairton High School Class of 1957 reunion committee and attended Crossroads Ministries in Finleyville.
In recent years Donna’s favorite pastime was walking regularly with her friends, the “Happy Hoofers”, in Mingo Creek Park.
Surviving are her husband, Donald Henze Sr., with whom she celebrated 63 years of marriage December 24, 2020; a son, Donald Henze Jr. (Shannon) of Finleyville; a daughter, Suzonne Baynham (Glenn Young) of Finleyville; a sister, Mary Lou Guenther of New Eagle; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a brother, David Casperson.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 28 in Kegel Funeral Home, Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David P. Kegel, director, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville, where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 29.
