Nancy F. Homme

Nancy F. Homme, 83, of Ellsworth, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021 in her home.

She was born June 5, 1938 in Brownsville, a daughter of the late Elise T. and Lillian Carpenter Hudson.

Mrs. Homme was employed with H&R Block, and later worked at both Giant Eagle in Bentleyville and the Spring House in Eighty Four as a baker.

Nancy was active with the Ellsworth Girl Scouts Troop for many years. She enjoyed fishing and camping with her late husband and family, and spending time with her faithful companions, Boo and Bella.

On September 24, 1944 she married Harold E. Homme, who died December 19, 2014.

Surviving are five children, Deborah Paterini (John), of Erie, Rhonda Wilson (John), Diane Fordyce (Daniel), Harold Homme Jr. (Monica), all of Ellsworth, and Jacquelynn Leoni (Orlando) of Bentleyville; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are three sisters; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

A Celebration of Life will be held July 10 at 1 p.m. at the home of Diane Fordyce. Arrangements by Greenlee’s Bentleyville Funeral Home.
