Danny W. Kosek Jr.
Danny W. Kosek Jr., 59, of Washington, passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 3, 2021, in the Washington Hospital following a lengthy illness, with his family at his side.
He was born May 2, 1962, in Washington, the son of Danny W. and Helen E. Bunnell Kosek Sr. of Washington.
Mr. Kosek was employed for the majority of his life as a roofer for Paul W. Miller Roofing, where he eventually became a roofing foreman.
He was Christian by faith and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars #927 in Washington and was a former member of the Pulaski Club. Mr. Kosek was an avid fisherman and enjoyed camping and the outdoors. He will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Surviving are his wife, Sarah J. Kosek of Washington; a son, Danny W. “Peewee” (Erika) Kosek III of Washington; a daughter, Dana (Duncan) Parkinson of Washington; three brothers, Donald (Cindy) Kosek of Indiana, Rick Kosek of Washington and James (Betty) Kosek of Washington; and a sister, Kimberly (Robert) Byers of Washington. Several grandchildren also survive.
