Roger Olson
Roger Olson, 65, of Washington, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 3, 2021, in his home, surrounded by his family.
He was born April 27, 1956, in Wheeling, W.Va., a son of the late Charles and Becky Olson.
Mr. Olson was a 1974 graduate of Trinity High School in Washington. He was a veteran of the United States Army and worked in the construction field for many years. He was a long-time member of the Amici Club and a league bowler at Alpine Lanes. He was a loving and generous man who was always willing to help others in need.
Mr. Olson is survived by Mary Angott, whom he made a home with for 19 years. He is also survived by his children, Matt (Cindy) Olson, Chad Olson, Tabby Olson, Tabby (Kyle) Duff, and Bella Angott. In addition, he is survived by his grandchildren, Kelsey Walsh, Colin, Kody and Ian Olson, Keira and Nakyah Smith, and Chloe Adams; siblings Bonnie Webb, Macleod Carre, Kay (Kenny) Klusovsky and Robbin (Mike) Elenitsas; along with several nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
Viewings will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 8, with a celebration of life service at 6 p.m., in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
A private interment will be held at a later date.
