Dolores Marie Dubich Coleman
Dolores Marie Dubich Coleman, 60, of Youngstown, Fla., formerly of Slovan, passed away Friday, July 2, 2021, in Florida, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born March 2, 1961, a daughter of the late Joseph and Emma Dubich.
Dolores was a graduate of Burgettstown High School and West Virginia University, and went on to serve her country in the U.S. Army.
Dolores was employed as a paralegal with the law firm Perry and Young of Panama City and Marianna, Fla. Her law firm family was extremely supportive to her during her battle with cancer.
She loved to work and be active; she had a “just keep going” spirit about her that was infectious. She also kept busy with her flowers around her home, especially harvesting her figs and grapes. And even after working and gardening, there was no rest for Dolores. If she could find a good yard sale or some time to bargain shop, she would. And just when you thought she would rest, it was time to clip coupons. She was also an avid Steelers fan.
Although being on the move was something that Dolores was known for, she was better known as the most devoted and loving mother and wife. Her family was the most important part of her life; spending time with her husband and son is something that she always cherished. While battling with cancer, she showed her family how to be strong. She was strong for them daily.
Surviving are her husband, Kelly Coleman of Florida; son Zachary Austin Coleman of Florida; sisters Charlotte (John) Richards of Slovan, Barbara (John) Capo of Cecil and Nancy (Mark) Burd of Eldersville; niece Erin (Matthew) Grady of Minnesota; nephew Marko Burd of Eldersville; and numerous dogs, cats and her goats.
Along with her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her brother, Marko Dubich.
Funeral arrangements were provided by the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Panama City. The law firm of Perry and Young will host a memorial service.
