Dontae Lamar Patterson
Dontae Lamar Patterson, 46, of Washington, departed this life unexpectedly Monday, July 5, 2021, in his home.
He was born September 20, 1974, in Washington, to Victoria Patterson of Washington, and the late Darrell Washington.
Dontae graduated from Washington High School in 1993 and was currently employed with West Penn Wire of Washington.
Dontae was an avid reader who also enjoyed dressing well and going out to nice places. He loved hanging with his friends and spending time with his family. He had such a great smile, sense of humor and an unbelievable imagination.
On July 16, 1997, he married Belinda Haught, who survives. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Victoria Patterson (William Smith) of Washington; two sons, Allante McGant of Washington and Cole Patterson of Corpus Christi, Texas; one daughter, Cassie Patterson of Houston; one brother, Milan Lee of California; one sister, Mishua Patterson and special nephew Quamar Patterson, both of Washington; aunts Marie Colbert and Patricia Patterson (Floyd Watson), both of Washington, Wilzena Patterson of Atlanta, Ga., Gwen Davis of Newark, N.J., Mitzi Washington of Washington, and Sharon Washington of Akron, Ohio; uncles Tony (Mary) Patterson of Washington, William (Joan) Duncan of Alexandria, Va., Stanley Washington (Peachy) of Las Vegas, Nev., and Hack Washington of Milwaukee, Wis. Also surviving is an abundance of cousins, friends and all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father; and both maternal and paternal grandparents.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 12, in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. Additional visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m., the hour of a funeral service, Tuesday, July 13, in the funeral home. Pastor Trish Robinson will officiate. Burial will be private.
