Edward Anthony Gill
Edward Anthony Gill, 73, of McMurray, passed away, surrounded by his family, Monday, July 12, 2021.
He was the beloved husband of Mary Ann Palumbi; loving father to Ben (Lindsay) Gill; and proud Pap-Pap of Morrigan Gill.
Edward was preceded in death by his father, Edward J. Gill; and mother Angeline Scalise.
He was the loving brother of Frank (Tina) Gill, Regis (Sylvia) Gill and Thomas (Leslie) Gill. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
Edward received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The University of Pittsburgh. Edward was a retired vice president and dean of academics of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
Edward was an avid coin and stamp collector, and enjoyed woodworking, but most of all loved spending time and making memories with his family.
Services to celebrate Edward’s life will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 15, in Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317. A Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 16, in St. John XXIII Parish, 120 Abington Drive, McMurray, PA 15317.
