Scott E. Myers
Scott E. Myers, 65, of Bentleyville, passed away Wednesday morning, July 14, 2021, in his home.
He was born September 15, 1955, in Richwood, W.Va., a son of the late Don E. Myers and Agnes M. Volk Myers.
A 1973 graduate of Bentworth High School, Scott was a senior electrician for the Allegheny Health Network, Forbes campus from 1978 to 2014.
He rode bikes on the Great Allegheny Passage and the C & O Canal Trail to Washington, D.C. and back with his son, Christopher.
Scott loved cruising the ocean, traveling the USA with his wife and dear friends, Marc and Jan.
He also loved to hunt and fish with his sons and buddies, the outdoors, gardening, lawn care, taking his grandchildren for rides on the quad, and collecting old pocket watches.
Scott enjoyed motorcycles, building dune buggies, and riding horses with his dad and buddies.
Surviving are Debra Anderson Myers, his loving wife since May 10, 2005, and the best thing to happen to him. Scott enjoyed going on bike rides with her.
Also surviving are his five children, Jason Myers (Lauren), Jordan Myers (Karisa), Christopher Myers (Krista), Nicholas Kemerer (Shawna) and Krista Platt (Ryan); 14 grandchildren; sisters Pamela A. Myers and Barbara J. Myers; and little lap sitters, Tillie and Lou-Lou.
Deceased is an infant sister, Donna.
Friends are welcome from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 16, in the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255, followed by his funeral service, with Pastor Donn Chapman officiating.
