Evan Carson Pfeifer
Evan Carson Pfeifer, 15, of Avella, died Wednesday, July 21, 2021, in Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
He was born August 15, 2005, in Washington, a son of Dale E. and Crystal K. Hinkle Pfeifer, both survive.
Evan was a high-honor student at Avella High School, where he played several sports and served as their first male cheerleader. He was also a member of student council.
Evan was also a member of F.C. Pittsburgh, and previously BAYSA, where he played travel soccer.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a brother, Dillan Pfeifer of Avella; his paternal grandmother, Shirley Pfeifer; his maternal grandparents, Lee and Janet Hinkle; two uncles, Doug and Glenn (Michelle) Pfeifer; and three cousins, Alexis, Zachary and Doug Pfeifer Jr.
Deceased are his paternal grandfather, Robert Pfeifer; and his uncle, Lee Hinkle Jr.
Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m Sunday, in the Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 26, with David Reither officiating.
