Janet Darlene Hull
On Saturday, July 17, 2021, Janet Darlene Hull, 77, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully, after a prolonged illness and to the sorrow of her family and friends.
Janet was born November 13, 1943, in Washington, a devoted daughter of Kenneth J. and Anna H. Hull.
Janet graduated with high honors from both Trinity High School in Washington and from the University of Pittsburgh.
After graduating, Janet went to work for Drakenfeld & Co. and later for Washington Steel before moving to Virginia and a position with Honeywell International, for whom she worked for nearly 25 years in Alexandria, Va., and Pittsburgh. She later accepted a position with and eventually retired from BNY Mellon in Pittsburgh.
Surviving are one sister, June Bryner of Washington; and a brother, William (Rebecca) Hull of Hampton Cove, Ala. Also surviving are her niece and caregiver, Debbie Plumsky; nieces Kara Strawn, Jordan (Nicolas) Henson, Kristin (Aaron) Anslow; nephews Larry Bryner, and Jared (Sheena) Hull. Janet’s love for her family also extended to her great-nieces, Ella Strawn, Amelia Anslow, Lydia Hull; and great-nephews Cooper and Tanner Henson, and Bowen Anslow. Janet will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Janet was preceded in death by her beloved parents; and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George and Susie Jurkovsky, and Mr. and Mrs. James and Grace Chadwick.
A memorial service will be held at a future date.
