William Louis Hunter Jr.

Mr. William Louis “Bill” Hunter Jr., 65, passed away Friday, July 9, 2021, with family by his side. Born in Canonsburg, Bill was a son of the late William Louis Hunter Sr. and Joann Barbara Gregg Hunter. He graduated from Canon-McMillan High School.

Bill was a general contractor and co-owned Guaranteed Restoration. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, singing karaoke, and loved to fish. Bill loved his family and orchestrated their family reunion every year. He lived and loved life to the fullest.

Bill is survived by his son, Jeremy A. Hunter and daughter-in-law Jessica; two brothers, Jeffrey W. Hunter (Lisa) and James R. Hunter; two sisters, Leslie J. Totterdale (Ron) and Tammy S. Paskert (Jay); nieces and nephews Justine Nielsen, Brenna Chidester, Jeffrey Hunter, Carly Harrill, Jamie Gomes, James Hunter II, Breann Hunter, J. Jay Paskert, Joanie Paskert and Luke Paskert. Bill also is survived by his lifelong friend/cousin, Bud Lilley; his good friend/business partner, Scott Hardy; and many cousins, extended family and close friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 24, at Wolfe Funeral Home in Fort Mill, S.C.

A second service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 1, in Christian Church of North America, 605 Shirls Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
