Mary Ann Balog Stash
Mary Ann Balog Stash, of Aleppo, formerly of West Mifflin, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021, at the age of 85.
She was a daughter of the late John and Susan Lucas Balog. She was the beloved wife of 48 years of the late John Stash; mother of Gregory (Mary “Sis”) Stash of Aleppo and Rose (Thomas) Schob of West Mifflin; sister of the late Florence Ocilka Sullivan and Carol Heck; grandmother of Patrick (Victoria) Schob and Emily Schob. She is also survived by her loving feline friends, Pretty Boy and Pretty Girl.
Mary Ann was a former employee of the U.S. Steel Duquesne Works, former member of the Homeville Volunteer Fire Department Fire Ladies and former member of Resurrection Church, West Mifflin. She was also a member of the Aleppo Grange Senior Center and St. Ann Church in Waynesburg.
Friends will be received in the Savolskis-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home, Inc., 3501 Main Street, Munhall, from 2 until 7 p.m. Monday, July 26. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 27, in Resurrection Church, West Mifflin. Interment will be in Lebanon Church Cemetery, West Mifflin.
