Michael “Mike” J. May, 58, of Washington, died Saturday, July 24, 2021, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.

He was born June 7, 1963, in Washington, a son of the late James R. May Jr. and Elizabeth Kovacicek Haskey.

Mike was a graduate of Washington High School.

He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates, WWE Wrestling, cooking shows and fishing, and he enjoyed collecting hats. He loved spending time with family and was a father figure to many.

He was funny and loved to tell jokes. He was the greatest son, brother, uncle and friend that anyone could ask for.

Mike is survived by brothers, James R. May III (Beverly) of Washington, Russell May (Teresa) of Washington, Charles Haskey (Chris) of Zelienople and Joseph Haskey of Scenery Hill; sisters, Jacqueline May of Beaver County, Tracy Denman (Lee) of Washington, Wendy May of Washington and Beth Cross (the late Nick) of Washington; nieces and nephews, Stephanie May, James R. May IV (Shannon), Christopher May, Savannah Winters (Adam), Cheyanne May (Nate), Samantha Denman (Mike), Christina Patterson (Rob), Devin Henderson, Tabitha Denman (Robert), Jordan Haskey, Jenna Haskey, Kameron Haskey and Ryder Haskey; great-nieces and great-nephews, John, Anthony, Thomas, Benjamin, Daymian, Izayah, Jasiah, Alayah, Kayvon, Madison, Natalie, Camron, Dominic and Kendall; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.

Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, in William G. Neal Funeral Homes, Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
