Christopher Allen Wentzel, 58, of Greensburg, passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021, in Gainesville, Ga., following a courageous battle with cancer.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.

Christopher was born October 6, 1962, in Greensburg, to the late Ronald Lynn Wentzel and Beverly Elaine Welsh Wentzel. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ron Wentzel.

He is survived by his son, Christopher Wentzel (Kenzy) of Hawaii; grandchildren Ezra Wentzel; brother Matt Wentzel; sister Kathi Gamm (Terry). He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, North Riverside Chapel, 989 Riverside Drive, Gainsville, Ga., is in charge of arrangements.
