Betsy Post Miller, 80, of Florence, Ariz., passed away peacefully, in her home, Wednesday, May 5, 2021, with her loving family by her side. She was born November 10, 1940, in Washington, a daughter of the late Clarke Sprowls Post and Mary Dutton Post.

Mrs. Miller was a graduate of Claysville High School Class of 1957; she also graduated from Penn Commercial Business School. She was employed by Tygart Valley Glass prior to moving to Mesa, Ariz. While living in Mesa, she worked for the Mesa Public Schools in the Audiology Department.

Betsy’s pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with family. She also loved traveling to the Post family farm in Pennsylvania. Her passion for all animals large and small was unmatched; she rescued many.

Surviving are her two sons, Mark Miller (Laurie MacDonald) of Mesa, Michael (Rebecca) Miller of Florence; and daughter Mendy Miller of Flagstaff, Ariz.; and her ex-husband Ronald Miller of Florence; four grandchildren, Savanna Miller of Mesa, Chase Miller of San Tan Valley, Ariz., Second Lieutenant Casey Miller, UPT-Undergraduate Pilot Training, Columbus Air Force Base, Miss., and Cassie Miller of Florence. Also surviving are two brothers, John (Patricia) Post of Avella and Clarke (Nancy) Post of Warren, Ohio; a sister, Mary Jo (Michael) Flory of Washington; a sister-in-law, Cheryll Post. Betsy was a special aunt to many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Deceased is a brother, Frank Post.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date and will be private.
