Madeline Borland
With profound sadness we announce the passing of Madeline Borland, a loving and devoted mother and friend to all the lives she touched, on June 3, 2021. She left us while sleeping peacefully at her home, with her family by her side.
She was born June 29, 1930, in Daisytown, a daughter of the late Mariano and Domencia Pacth Paci Polidori; and a much-loved mother to Robert Jr. (Deb) of Navarre, Fla., Steven (Susan) of Hagerstown, Md., Lisa (Bill) of Daisytown, and Angela (Greg) of Smithton. She was a proud grandmother to Billy (Jen), Chad, Joshua (Molly), Stephanie, Maria, Dylan, Lisa (Mike), Jessica (Dan), and Megan (Nathan). Madeline was a cherished great-grandmother to Madeline, Easton, Everly, Bella, Angie, Heath and Sabrina. She was a dear sister to Albina, Joseph (Erma Jean), Bernadette and Henry (Ann). She is also remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
Madeline loved to cook, bake and crochet. When she wasn’t keeping an immaculate house, you could find her taking care of all her beautiful flowers and cherishing special moments with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Ltd., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where a Prayer Service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 10, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Richeyville Campus, with Rev. Edward Yuhas officiating. Interment will follow in Taylor Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Taylor Cemetery, 600 Old National Pike, Brownsville, PA 15417. Guest book and personal condolences may be accessed at www.GreenleeFuneralHome.com.
