George Henry “Herk” Tedder, 77, of McMurray, unexpectedly passed away, in his home, Tuesday, March 2, 2021.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Doris Tedder. He is also survived by many cherished friendships and extended family.

Henry was preceded in death by seven siblings.

Henry had a long-time career with the United Airlines as an airplane mechanic until his retirement. He enjoyed traveling all over in his antique cars for car cruises. Henry met a lot of close friends at the car cruises. He always looked forward to going out to lunch with them every week. Henry also enjoyed staying in with his beloved wife, Doris and doing jigsaw puzzles together. Henry will be remembered for his hard work ethic, passion for cars, and love for his friends and family.

Funeral arrangements by Beinhauers. Friends and family are welcome from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 5, at 2828 Washington Road, McMurray, 724-941-3211. Interment will be private at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
