Alice Deyell
Alice “Esther” Deyell, 82, of Washington, died Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at North Strabane Rehabilitation & Wellness Center, Canonsburg.
She was born November 17, 1938, in Lone Pine, a daughter of the late Burt and Mary Black Ray.
Esther graduated from Trinity High School and was a homemaker.
On November 2, 1990, Esther married Robert E. “Bob” Deyell Jr., who died September 24, 2003.
Left to cherish Esther’s memory is a son, Earl J. Phillips of Washington; and grandchildren Heather Taylor of Ocala, Fla., Amy (John) Norman of Morgantown, W.Va., Earl J. Phillips II of Washington and Brianna Andreoli of Washington; and her great-grandchildren, Blake, Mackenzie, Brooke, Eden and Maggie Mae.
Also surviving is her former husband, Joseph Earl (Linda) Phillips of Washington.
Esther was a member of West Washington Methodist Church and enjoyed attending the church services.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, all services are private.
