Beatrice Contrella, 102, of McMurray, formerly of Elizabeth Township, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021.

She was born December 6, 1918, in Blythedale, and was a daughter of the late Beniamino and Zaira Ferrari Ruozzi. She was the wife of the late Deano Contrella, who passed away in 1981.

Beatrice was the office manager of the former Metlife in McKeesport and had also worked for the former Union National Bank accounting department. She was a member of the Wednesday Bowling League and the Friday Coffee and Donuts Bowling League.

She is survived by her son, R. Thomas (Lisa) Contrella of McMurray; grandchild, Christina (Mark) Pietroforte; great-grandchildren, Haley, Leo and Francesca Pietroforte.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Ruozzi.

Visitation and funeral services are private. The Rev. Jeffrey Vanderhoff and Rev. Andrew Harvey will be officiating. Interment will be in the West Newton Cemetery.
