Shirley A. Mitchell
Shirley A. Mitchell, 72, of Ellsworth, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021.
She was born November 12, 1948, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late William and Freda Johnson McNair.
Mrs. Mitchell was an avid Steeler fan and true to her Black and Gold.
Shirley enjoyed many things in life, but was most proud of being a wife, mother and professional grammy. She was all about taking care of her family.
Surviving is her beloved husband of 42 years, Paul J. Mitchell; two daughters, Donna M. Conaway (fiance Lonnie Farquhar) and Virginia R. Richards (Edward); a son, Clifford J. Mitchell (Leya); 11 grandchildren, Tristen, Tyler, Jaycee, Jordan, Kyle, Nicolette, Madison, Kylee, Peyton, Bryan and Zoey; a brother, William McNair; and a sister, Sherry Kinkaid.
Deceased is a son, Gary L. Mitchell; a sister, Rosie McNair; and a brother, Daniel McNair.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, in Beinhauer Funeral Home, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray (724-941-3211), where services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 11.
