Betty Jane Koss, 84, of Washington, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021, in her home.

She was born October 20, 1936, in Vestaburg, a daughter of the late Walter and Vera Dodson Chapman.

Mrs. Koss was the owner/operator of Koss Beauty Salon in Marianna for many years and was also an ordained pastor.

A homemaker, Betty’s family and home were her focus. She was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed traveling throughout the U. S. with her husband.

On September 28, 1956, she married William O. Koss, who died March 6, 2020.

Surviving are four children, Kim Eldora Koss-Johnson (Blake) of Elk Ridge, Utah, Billie Jean Koss-Daugherty (David) of Washington, Donna Kay Koss-Bradish (Sean) of Beverly Hills, Fla. and David O. Koss (Abby) of Washington; ten grandchildren.

Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are a daughter-in-law, Robin Lee Finger; and brother-in-law, Kevin Koss.
