Rachel Grace Bowman

Rachel Grace Bowman, 63, of Amity, died Monday, March 8, 2021, in her home. She was born July 22, 1957, in Washington, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Ellen Henderson Null.

She attended Washington High School. Mrs. Bowman worked as an over-the-road truck driver, an escort at Country Meadows, and for Home Health Care.

She was a member of Lower Ten Mile Presbyterian Church in Amity. She also belonged to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Eagles, was an active member of TOPS, and enjoyed performing Civil War reenactments.

On September 25, 1976, she married Lonnie Ray Bowman, with whom she shared more than 30 years of marriage before his passing December 7, 2008.

She is survived by five sons, Christopher Shay Bowman, William E. Bowman, Lee Roy (Sarah) T. Bowman, Daniel Ray (Laura) Bowman, Lonnie Ray (Stacey) Bowman II; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Deceased, in addition to her husband and parents, are a sister, Helen Null; and three brothers, Clarence, Robert and John Null.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 12, in Nichol Funeral Home, 1873 East Maiden Street, Washington, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 13. Interment will follow in Lower Ten Mile Presbyterian Cemetery, Amity.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern PA.
