Eleanor R. Shriver
Eleanor R. Shriver, 84, of Waynesburg, died at 7:46 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2021, at the Quality Life Services at Henry Clay Villa in Markleysburg.
She was born Friday, November 20, 1936, in Morgantown, W.Va., a daughter of the late Marshall Joseph and Mary Frances Pester Joseph.
Eleanor was a waitress most of her life. She also did some housekeeping and later worked as a security guard at Waynesburg College.
She is survived by her life partner, Billy Hibbs of Kentucky; two sons, Gary Watson of Oak Forest and Howard (Nancy) Watson Jr. of Arizona; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty Tennant of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are three sisters and one brother.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 18, in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director, 197 N. Maiden Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Jack Anderson officiating. Private burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery, Rogersville.
