Ruth Ann Snatchko Leonard
Ruth Ann Snatchko Leonard, 72, of Washington, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021, in the Donnell House, Washington.
She was born November 20, 1948, in Canonsburg Hospital, to the late John Joseph and Emma Irene Snatchko of Oakdale.
Ruth Ann graduated from West Allegheny High Shool in 1967. She worked at the Kwik and Eazy in Washington for several years and then as a dietary aide at South Hills Convalescent and Canonsburg Hospital until her retirement.
In 1967, she married Alfred M. Leonard Jr., who survives. They raised three children, Paula (Paul) Howard, Tammy (Mark) Post and Shawn (Jamie) Leonard. Ruth Ann was also blessed with 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, whom she loved very much. Also surviving are two brothers, Mark (Arlene) Snatchko and Jeff (Jenny) Snatchko; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John and David Snatchko; a sister, Nancy Hamill; and a nephew, Todd Hamill.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 22, in the Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson at East Katherine Avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 23, in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
