Debra B. Sarafian, 66, of Spraggs, passed away at 11:16 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2021, in J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. She was born October 15, 1954, in Washington, a daughter of the late Chester R. and Helen M. Senak Kuczykowski.

Mrs. Sarafian was a graduate of Jefferson Morgan High School and worked as a licensed practical nurse at the former Mayview State Hospital in Bridgeville and at St. Anthony’s Hospital and the VA Medical Center, both in St. Petersburg, Fla. She was a beekeeper and enjoyed artistic painting. Mrs. Sarafian was a very generous person and was well loved by her family and friends.

On February 14, 2002, she married Kenneth A. Sarafian, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, William J. Brant of Spraggs; a brother, Chester Kuczykowski of Clarksville; a sister, Diana Tedrow (James) of Mather; several nieces and nephews; and her grandpuppies, Scrappy, Mookie and Missy.

Deceased are a son, Frank Nelson Brant Jr.; and two sisters, Jeanette Kuczykowski and Evelyn Kuczykowski.

There will be no public viewing and arrangements are private under the direction of the Yoskovich Funeral Home, Martin J. Yoskovich, Funeral Director, 300 South Vine Street, Carmichaels.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Greene County, 183 Jefferson Road, Waynesburg, PA 15370.
