Carmine F. Forte, Jr.
Carmine F. “Sonny” Forte Jr., 75, formerly of Bentleyville, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021, in Bremerton, Wash.
He was born November 21, 1945, in Ellsworth, a son of the late Carmine F. Forte Sr. and Mildred Forte.
After graduating from Ellsworth High School in 1963, Carmine worked at the US Steel Irvin Plant in Dravosburg for nearly 40 years.
He enjoyed golfing, yard work, and spending time with family.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra Wisniski Forte; children, Michael Alan Forte (Subin), and Michele Alaine Forte (Erik Shepherd); sisters, Nadine Finn and Lois Bertocci; sister-in-law, Wilma Casson; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased is a sister, Betty Lambert.
Friends are welcome from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 7, in the Thompson-Marodi Funeral Home, Inc., 809 Main Street, Bentleyville, 724-239-2255.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 8, in Saint Katharine Drexel, Bentleyville Campus, 126 Church Street, Bentleyville, with the Reverend Edward L. Yuhas, Pastor, as celebrant.
At the church, facial coverings and social distancing are required for those who have not been vaccinated.
Private interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Monongahela.
