Andrew “Drew” Lloyd Giel, 48, of Courtney, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021, in Jefferson Hospital. He was born March 24, 1973, in Pittsburgh, to the late Daniel Albert Giel, and Marie Frances Brenning Giel of Elizabeth.

Andrew was the loving partner to Amber Black. He is survived by his girlfriend, Amber and their son, Andrew Lloyd Giel; his brothers, Dennis (Jayme) Giel of Elizabeth and Daniel Giel of Elizabeth; as well as his mother, Marie. He is further survived by his beloved dogs, Mr. Goring, Roscoe and Heidi.

Andrew was preceded in death by his father, Daniel.

He was a member of the Marine Corps.

Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, October 9, in S.M. Finney Funeral Home, 432 N. 6th Street, Clairton, PA 15025. Inurnment will occur at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to defray costs.
