Sammy N. Fox
Sammy N. “Sam” Fox, 75, of Spraggs, died at 12:47 p.m. Friday, October 8, 2021 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, W.Va.
He was born Saturday, September 21, 1946, in Brock, a son of the late Lindsey R. Fox and Sylvia Britton Fox.
Mr. Fox was a resident of Greene County all of his life. He was a member of the Valley Chapel United Methodist Church in Brock, PA.
Sam was a driver, as well as the owner and operator of Fox School Bus Service, LLC., Fox Charter Service, LLC., and was a partner with his son Harold of Fox White Barn, LLC. Sam enjoyed farming and doing farm work with his son. He also loved spending time with his two granddaughters. His wife: Kay Kughn Fox, whom he married on June 18, 1965 survives. Also surviving are a son: Harold (Char) Fox of Spraggs, two granddaughters, Jana R. (Jeff) Fox of Pittsburgh, and Jada R. (Brandon) Fox of Waynesburg, and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a sister, Aileen Kiger.
Friends were received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, October 10, in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. Daryl L. Throckmorton Owner/Director,197 N.
