Charita Lynn Nemec
Charita Lynn Nemec, 74, of Canonsburg, formerly of Nottingham Township, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021. Born October 10, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Harriett and Aldon Crawford.
She was the beloved wife to Ed Nemec; loving stepmother of Beckey Picard, Rachel (Glenn) Nemec and Chris (Kelly) Nemec; cherished stepgrandmother to Jesse, Abby and Emerson.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Cheryl Mathes.
Charita was a retired Canon-McMillan teacher. She was an avid reader, gardener and bridge player. Charita was an actor and director with Baldwin Players, Old Schoolhouse Players, South Park Theater and Little Lake Theater, where she also served on the board of directors.
Per Charita’s request, all services will be held privately. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, 150 Hillside Drive, Bethel Park, PA 15102.
