Larry Kubincanek

Larry Kubincanek, 74, of Bentleyville, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021, in the comfort of his own home. Born February 15, 1947 in Bentleyville, he was the son of the late Andrew and Kathryn Bertovich Kubincanek.

Larry was a graduate of Mon Valley Catholic High School and had served his country as a veteran of the United States Army.

Larry spent the last few years on the family farm where he enjoyed the fresh air and the beautiful view. He collected countless antiques and other treasures on his many trips to flea markets, and he relished every opportunity to brag about his great-nephews to everyone he met.

Larry is survived by brothers, George (Molly) Kubincanek of Pittsburgh, Carl (Debra) Kubincanek of Washington, Danny Kubincanek of Bentleyville, and Paul (Mandie) Kubincanek of Bentleyville; nieces and nephew, Andrew ( Lurene) Kubincanek of Mechanicsville, Va., Kaitlin Kubincanek of Pittsburgh, and Karli (Drew) Lynd of Bentleyville; cousins Mike Bertovich of Bentleyville, Ron Bertovich and Peg Howson; and great-nephews Harrison Kubincanek and Callan Lynd.

There will be no public visitation. However, all are welcome to the Celebration of Larry’s life at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 16, at Sacred Heart Cemetery with the Rev. James Bump officiating.

Following the services, all family and friends are invited for picnic at the Bertovich Farm in Bentleyville. All are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to Washington Area Humane Society in Eighty Four, Pa. Arrangements have been entrusted to Leonard M. Pavlic Funeral Homes, Inc. 405 Main Street, Bentleyville.
