Doris Robison
Doris “Ellen” Robison, 79, of Washington, died on October 15, 2021, in UPMC Magee Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh.
She was born on September 13, 1942, in Washington, a daughter of the late Howard and Doris Jean McAfee Powell.
A 1960 graduate of Trinity High School, Ellen attended Calvary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Robison loved to crochet and to buy pretty clothing. She also enjoyed walking outside, camping, drawing and painting.
On May 26, 1961, she married George “Hicey” Robison, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Cheryl Lynn (the late Earl Glen) White, of Washington, and Mary Beth Lane, of Bethel Park; a brother, Jerry Johnson, of Washington; a sister, Sandy (Ron) Wilkinson, of Washington; six grandchildren, George Robison, Rachel White, Timothy Robison White, Alicia Heise, Katrina Slider, and Joshua Thompson; seven great grandchildren, including Lilly and Arianna and Henry; a sister-in-law, Doris (the late Walter) Berry, of Washington; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021, in Calvary Baptist Church, 1701 Ridgewood Drive, Washington, with Rev. Dr. Fred McCloskey officiating.
