Gerry Lea Rossi, 76, of McDonald, passed Monday, October 18, 2021. She was born March 23, 1945 in Canonsburg, a daughter of John G. and Sara Josephine Gibb McDowell.

Mrs. Rossi was a graduate of Fort Cherry High School Class of 1963. She worked for Liberty Mutual for 23 years, where she retired from in 2007.

On August 28, 1965, she married, Harry T. Rossi, who passed, May 10, 2006.

Gerry enjoyed living a very simple life. She was a lifelong member of the McDonald Presbyterian Church, where she served many years as a Deacon. She was a volunteer for the Salvation Army project and McDonald Meals on Wheels.

Mrs. Rossi dearly loved her card club, bible study group, and spending time with her family. When her boys were young, she was very active in Fort Cherry Youth Sports.

Surviving are three sons, Harry T. (Christine) Rossi, III. of Willow Springs, N.C., Daniel J. Rossi of Baltimore, Md., and Andrew J. Rossi of Philipsburg; two brothers, John J. (Suzy) McDowell of Cleveland, Ohio, and Robert (Tammy) McDowell of McDonald; a sister Peggy (Frank) Samarin of McDonald; four grandchildren Jazmine, Maria, Harry IV, and Alex.

Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021, at Nation Funeral Home Inc. 220 E. Lincoln Avenue, McDonald, PA. 15057.

A funeral service to celebrate her life will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 2021, in the McDonald Presbyterian Church (Calvary Center) 119 Station Street McDonald, PA. 15057.

Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the McDonald Presbyterian Church
