Eric Willis Briggs, 37, of Pittsburgh, died unexpectedly at home on Saturday, October 16, 2021.

Born in State College, Eric was the beloved son of Andrew Sr. and Claudia Briggs of Harrisburg. He was the brother of Andrew Briggs, Jr. (Jasmin Little) of Washington, and Alexandra (Russell) Blankinship of Williamsburg, Va.

Eric was a 2002 graduate of Washington High School in Washington. He was employed by B&R General Contracting of Pittsburgh as a highly skilled carpenter and roofer. Eric enjoyed music, playing the guitar, being with family and friends, and making others laugh.

Eric was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edwin and Mary Willis of Brookville.

In addition to his parents and siblings, Eric is survived by his paternal grandparents, Darr and Carole Briggs, of Brookville; six aunts; six uncles; 14 cousins; his step-niece; and numerous other relatives.

Also left behind is Eric’s best friend and boss, Robert (Crystal) Revo of Baldwin.

A private memorial for immediate family members is planned at a future date.
